I created The Parting Guide because I lived through the chaos that can follow loss—and I don’t want other families to go through it the way I did.

My mom passed away young and unexpectedly. It was devastating. But what made it even harder was what came after. In the middle of my grief, I was suddenly responsible for closing out her entire estate. I had no idea where to start. It was overwhelming, confusing, and lonely.

Then, her identity was stolen. Dealing with fraud, paperwork, and bureaucracy while mourning her loss broke me in a way I didn’t expect. That experience could’ve swallowed me—but instead, it became a turning point.

I built The Parting Guide to be the resource I desperately needed: clear, compassionate, and practical. A tool families can use to move forward with peace, and one that lets professionals like you continue supporting them in a meaningful way—without pressure or sales tactics.
